Who’s Behind This

I’ve had a few careers before this one. I spent four years in the US Army, then ran automotive repair shops for several years after that. In 2006 I went back to college and finished a bachelor’s degree in math education, and spent the next 15 years teaching high school math.

I started selling on eBay back in 2007, in the middle of a divorce, just to make some extra money on the side. It stayed a side hustle for a long time. In 2011 I adopted two kids as a single dad, on top of the daughter I already had from my first marriage — so for years, eBay was just something I did in the evenings after everyone was in bed.

I left teaching two years ago and picked up part-time work as a Postal clerk. It wasn’t until 2025 that I actually started treating reselling like a business instead of a side project — building real systems, tracking real numbers, and figuring out what actually makes a flip worth it instead of guessing.

That’s why I built the tools on this site. I needed them myself, for real purchase decisions, with real money on the line. My youngest is in his last year of high school now, and my goal is to build this into something that lets me work for myself and spend more time actually seeing my kids instead of working around them.

Everything here is built and tested by someone who’s actually sourcing and flipping, not theorizing about it.
